Firstfall

Firstfall was originally born from an idle challenge during a round of Magic the Gathering: “How would you make white stronger?”, to which I replied: By making it near primary in scry, caring about other white permanents and revisiting the idea of powerful, white, removal. Nearly forty-three hours later of designing and three play-testing sessions later, the second, major iteration of Firstfall has been completed. Firstfall is a set designed around exploring design space that I wanted to explore and design in. Themes include white permanents matter, blue as a coalition color, -1/-1 counters matter, monkey paw cards, red using its life as a resource, and green focusing on scavenging keywords for its own use.
